As the 2010 season begins Selva BJJ is excited to annouce that we're starting out the New Year with a BANG! We're hosting a tournament with Ouano International at Mount San Antonio College on February 13, 2010.

Congrats to Kevin Cheung and Justin Hollan for taking the gold at the American National Jiu Jitsu Championships! Otilio Perales and Anothny Rubio took the bronze! All of us at SELVA BJJ are proud of our medalists!

News Update: 7/17/09

Congratulations to our very own Jason Selva for winning the gold medal at the prestigious Abu Dhabi Trials West Coast Pro Division. This means that Jason will be going to Barcelona, Spain in September to compete at the ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) Submission Wrestling World Championship!

The ADCC Submission tournament was created by Sheik Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, son of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, former president of the United Arab Emirates. Significant prize money is awarded to winners, and athletes who have been successful at the highest levels of competition in Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo, Sambo, Shooto.
